    A man who died Wednesday when he lost control of his sports car on state Highway 9 near Ben Lomond and crashed into an SUV was 31-year-old Michael Kelly, according to the Santa Cruz County coroner's office. Kelly, of Boulder Creek, was driving his 2002 Pontiac Grand Am north on Highway 9 north of California Drive at about 6:40 a.m. when he lost control while turning on a curve in the road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
