The California Department of Transportation is reconstructing the bridge deck and rehabilitating the control house of the bridge that crosses the Mokelumne River at the San Joaquin-Sacramento county line in the Delta. Currently, traffic over the bridge goes only one way at a time, alternating the direction of travel with a signal.
