    A Riverside man who disappeared just as his child molestation trial was starting and surfaced 13 years later was sentenced to 75 years to life in state prison Friday, Dec. 19. Todd Eric Dalton, 55, was convicted in absentia in Riverside County Superior Court in 2001 of nine counts related to continued sexual abuse of a child under 14, molestation of a child under 14, and forcible sexual penetration. One girl was molested from age 8 to 11 and another when she was ages 5 and 6, according to excerpts of a probation report read by Judge Edward Webster.
