Jay Nixon has ordered the Missouri and American flags to be flown at half-staff on state buildings in Oregon County on Friday, when a funeral will be held for 45-year-old Eddie Johnson Jr. Johnson was a full-time police office for the town of Alton as well as a reserve sheriff's deputy and chief of Alton's volunteer fire department.
