    Deputies with the Meigs County Sheriff's Office and agents from the Major Crimes Task Force of Gallia-Meigs went to 40415 Gold Ridge Road in Pomeroy on Friday to attempt to locate Shane Casteel, 26, of Pomeroy, on outstanding warrants from Meigs and Athens counties. Upon arrival deputies located Casteel as well as drugs and drug paraphernalia in the residence, said the Meigs County Sheriff's Office in a news release.

    Terri L. Carmichael, 57, of Racine; Mark W. Russell, 42, of Portland; and Susan G. Evans, 42, of Portland, were arrested Wednesday after Meigs County deputies received information that methamphetamine was allegedly being produced at a residence on Bucktown Road in Racine. Deputies obtained a search warrant for the property and, upon arrival at the residence, allegedly discovered Carmichael, Russell and Evans using methamphetamine.
