    On Friday, December, 12, 2014 at approximately 11:52 PM Kentucky State Police Post 11, London was notified by the McCreary County 911 Center of a structure fire with a deceased male subject inside the burned residence on South HWY 1651 in the Pine Knot community of McCreary County. Detective Billy Correll arrived at the scene and determined that the victim Johnny G. Taylor, 66, of Pine Knot had multiple stab wounds to his body. 1 comment

    On Sunday, October 12, 2014, at approximately 5:42 AM the Kentucky State Police Post 11, London was notified of a residential structure fire with fatalities on Sycamore Trail in McCreary County. KSP Arson Investigator Detective Brian Lewis along with Detective Billy Correll arrived on the scene and determined through an investigation that all three victims: David D. Perkins, 52, of Whitley City, Lisa Y. Perkins, 48, of Whitley City and Shanlen Crabtree, 3, of Whitley City were located in the bedroom of the residence.

    On Tuesday, October 07, 2014 at approximately 9:45 PM, the Kentucky State Police Post 11, London received a report of a fatal two vehicle traffic crash on US HWY 27 at the intersection of JobCorp Hill RD in McCreary County. Upon arrival Accident Reconstructionist Trooper Delzie Kelly determined that a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer operated by Shea A. Coffey, 29, of Stearns was traveling northbound on US 27 when he crossed over the center-line and struck a 2002 Buick Le Sabre that was traveling southbound operated by Palace O. Anderson, 68, of Strunk.
