As of 12:30 p.m., traffic was backed up about 2.5 miles.

    Three Madera brothers were arrested Monday after drug enforcement agents reportedly found nearly $38,000 worth of drugs - with a pill bottle full of cocaine and methamphetamine allegedly stashed in an infant's car seat - at two different homes in Madera, the Madera County Sheriff's Office said. Natalio Zaquero-Montalvo, 24, David Zaquero-Montalvo, 27, and Constantino Zaquero-Montalvo, 32, were booked into the Madera County Jail on suspicion of possession of narcotics and controlled substances for sale, conspiracy, and child endangerment.

Police arrested Keith Lundy Stump, 22, of Oakhurst, and Cherise Agueros, 21, of Ahwahnee after a California Highway Patrol officer saw them ditch a Honda, which was reported stolen from Fresno, in Ahwahnee on Road 600 near Highway 49. Stump was on probation in Fresno County.
