    A Fenton man died in a head-on crash Wednesday morning about eight miles west of Algona on U.S. Highway 18. Scott Alan Baker, 49, died when his 2011 Toyota Camry crossed the center line and collided with a 2011 Dodge Ram driven by Lavon Linn Kruse, 55, of Lone Rock, according to a report from the Iowa State Patrol. According to the accident report, Baker was eastbound on Highway 18 and Kruse was westbound.
