    A Humboldt County marijuana grower will be sentenced in federal court in San Francisco on June 3 for the murder of one of his workers. Mikal Xylon Wilde, 33, of Kneeland, was convicted Monday by a jury in the court of U.S. District Judge Edward Chen of murdering Mario Roberto Juarez-Madrid, 40, in the course of a drug crime on Aug. 25, 2010.

Jason Everett Armstrong, 40, is accused of fatally shooting 40-year-old Redway resident Daneyal Mohammad Siddique on Oct. 22 at the Dean Creek Resort in Redway. Armstrong has pleaded not guilty to the charge of murder with two special allegations regarding the use of a firearm.
