    A 75-year-old Hillsboro man known for taking walks every morning for exercise has been killed by a hit and run driver Thursday morning, and authorities are looking for that driver. DPS reports John Bennie Neal was walking on the shoulder of Highway 22 near the community of Peoria about 6 a.m. Thursday, when he was hit by a light colored pickup.

Authorities were advised by Waco DPS that a suspect in a black Dodge Charger was travel-ling northbound on Interstate 35 into Hill County. According to reports, Preston Pruitt, 20, of Blum had been speaking to 911 operators as he was driving, informing them of a bomb he allegedly placed under the front seat of the vehicle.
