    Columbia Pipeline Group  has announced that federal regulators have approved construction of Columbia Gas Transmission's East Side Expansion project in Chester, Pike and Northampton County, Pennsylvania and Gloucester County, New Jersey. This includes the upgrading of its compressor station on Schocopee Road in Milford Township, which was the subject of protest this year.  A Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity, issued on December 18 by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission authorizes Columbia to move forward with construction.
