    A written statement from the DeKalb County, Alabama, Sheriff's Department, stated that deputies responded to a call about a man riding a horse and a woman riding an all-terrain vehicle leading another horse on March 25. The caller told deputies that neither the man nor the woman owned a horse, the statement said. DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris said Deputy Jeff Bain located the suspects on a nearby highway and identified the man as Joseph Santiago.
