    A routine patrol through the Atlantic City Civil Courthouse resulted in the evacuation of the building just before 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14. At approximately 9:55a.m. Atlantic County Sheriff's Officer Dave Nguyen, while on routine patrol, observed what appear to be a suspicious item located in a trash can located on the first floor of the courthouse building. Nguyen started making the notifications to the sergeant's desk which resulted in the courthouse being evacuated in a timely and orderly manner, according to Atlantic County Sheriff Frank Balles.
