    The Journal Gazette Lucy, a one and a half year old pitbull, who was pulled as a young puppy from the second largest dog fighting bust in U.S. History, accepts treats from Jessica Henry, Director of the Allen County SPCA, Wednesday afternoon after arriving from the Quincy Humane Society. It's been about five months since the city adopted a community cat program, and most people would probably agree that it's a lot better than the way stray cats used to be treated.

Alessi II, who is listed in court documents as residing in Las Vegas, pleaded guilty in October to the fourth count of child molesting filed against him.

    Workers at the facility, owned by trupointe , noticed flames from a section of the elevator and called 911 around 1 a.m. Flames could be seen near the top of a 40 to 50 foot structure. Water was being sprayed from an aerial ladder truck to keep flames at a minimum and prevent any fire from spreading to other structures.
