    Searchers have found a body believed to be that of a Palo Alto man who went missing while hiking in the the Sunol Regional Wilderness in unincorporated Alameda County on Wednesday. A search had been underway for Irwin "Don" Meyers, 70, a Midtown Palo Alto resident who was reported missing at 6:50 p.m. Wednesday, after he didn't return from a hike, East Bay Regional Park District spokeswoman Carolyn Jones said.

The body discovered at 2 p.m. Thursday in the unincorporated Alameda County regional park is possibly Irwin "Don" Meyers, 70, of Palo Alto, according to the East Bay Regional Park District.
