    Kroger announced Thursday that conversions of Hiller's Markets will be completed in July, allowing for the new stores to open on or after July 12. Hiller's is required to remain open for 60 days after the notice of closure it issued after the announcement that Kroger acquired all seven Hiller's locations earlier this month. That means Hiller's locations can close on June 30. Earlier this week, Hiller's CEO Jim Hiller confirmed the stores will continue to stock the shelves, but some merchandise will be discontinued as part of the transition.
