    University of New Hampshire officials and student athletes participated in a ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday to celebrate the opening of the new $1.9 million Watkins Center for Student-Athlete Excellence at the UNH Field House.  The center, which seats 80 and includes offices for academic support personnel and meeting space, has all the necessary technology to assist student-athletes. The center has Wi-Fi, computers, audio-visual projectors, a drop down screen and an ambient sound system.
