    Workers from Eversource, formerly CL&P, today replace a utility pole that was severely damaged Tuesday afternoon when a large tree fell on power lines in front of 65 Cavalry Road, Weston, near Westport's Broad Street, causing a power outage. A workman said the force of the falling tree about 50 yards away damaged this utility pole due to the weight of the fallen power lines.
