Union Pacific Railroad sought the protective order for subpoenaed video recorded on the Union Pacific West line between West Chicago and Geneva from 5:45 a.m. to 6:45 a.m. on July 6. At 6:37 a.m. on that day, the body of Kathleen King was spotted by a train operator on the southernmost Union Pacific Railway tracks south of Esping Park, less than a half-mile from her east-side Geneva home, according to Geneva police.
