Or do you like to vote in person on Election Day? Take our poll. The Iowa Secretary of State says 384,452 absentee ballots have been sent out and as of October 20. The last day to vote an absentee ballot in person at the county auditor's office is Monday, November 3. Absentee ballots must be returned by mail and received after 9 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4 and must be postmarked by Monday, November 3, or earlier.
