Warren police said Maria Chimbidis, 79, of Melwood Drive N.E., was taken to St. Joseph Health Center shortly after 2:30 p.m. after she was pinned against the rear of her own vehicle by another vehicle that was blown out of control by the heavy winds. Chimbidis was putting groceries into the rear of her hatchback just as Carolyn Brindley of Willow Brook Drive N.E. was getting into her 2014 Honda Civic after finishing her shopping.
