    Federal prosecutors say a 44-year-old physician has pleaded guilty to scamming more than $80,000 from Medicare claims filed in central New York. The U.S. Attorney's office says 55-year-old Mahesh Kuthuru, formerly of Baldwinsville, pleaded guilty in federal court to defrauding Medicare from around January 2010 through September 2011 while running his practice at Upstate Pain Management offices in Utica and Fulton.

By the way, Notre Dame grad Emily Durr's Iowa State Hawkeyes beat TCU Wednesday as well.
