    A four-alarm fire overnight destroyed a building at the Valley West shopping plaza on River Street, bringing down the structure's roof and part of the facade. No one was injured by the blaze, which appeared to start in the roof structure and sent patrons of Beemers Pub out into the night, according to Fitchburg Deputy Chief Mitchell A. Pinault.
