    A grand jury in Scranton indicted Michael Turner, 21, Andrew Turner, 27, and Jason Mitchell, 29, all of Tobyhanna  and they were charged by the U.S. States Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania for the alleged crimes. The U.S.s Secret Service and the Pennsylvania State Police, Bureau of Gaming Enforcement began an investigation on June 1, continuing through June 30, during which the defendants allegedly conspired, aided and abetted each other in a scheme to receive, exchange, transfer, and pass approximately $8,700 in counterfeit $100 Federal Reserve Notes at Mount Airy Casino in Mount Pocono and the Mohegan Sun Casino in Wilkes Barre.

After deliberating a little more than an hour to convict Hicks of murder at the end of the trial's first phase, the jury deliberated six and a half hours Tuesday to sentence him to death.
