    According to Thomson Police Chief John Seay, deputies were called to the 200 block of Watson Street around 9:40 p.m. Wednesday and found Leterence Burley, 22, with a stab wound. Burley was taken to Doctors Hospital where he later died.

Wednesday, the Thomson Police Department and McDuffie County EMS responded to a stabbing call at 208 Watson St. and found Laterrence D. Burley with a stab wound to his back.

    The Thomson Police Department is seeking a woman and two men in connection with shots being fired shots on a city street on Monday, April 13. One of the men is wanted by the McDuffie County Sheriff's Office for the armed robbery of a man in the Doolie Hill area on Saturday, April 11. Several shots were fired on Third St., near the intersection of Pitts St., in Thomson, on Monday afternoon. For the shooting, Thomson Police Chief John Seay said that warrants have been issued for the arrest of Latesha Saffo, a black female, Demontrey Johnson, a black male, and Demontreal Butler, a black male.
