Last year, Thomson fans were left disappointed at the first Winter Rumble when Da Fireman was defeated. Fans were so upset they began throwing cans, quarters and popcorn into the ring This time around Da Fireman pulled through and won in front of more than 450 fans.

    Three people are behind bars in connection with a shooting in Thomson Saturday that left one person dead and another injured, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Tywaun Burley, 24, Stephen Howard, 25, and Stanquan Rogers, 28, are each charged with one count of murder in the death of 21-year-old Exzavius Bray, according to the GBI.
