Haines, 22, of Beavertown, were discovered in the creek bed off Main Street near Mountain View Bible Camp north of Snydertown.

Victoria Rosencrans, the newly-appointed chairperson of Sunbury's Olde Town Neighborhood Committee, recently created the "Save the Northumberland County Prison" group, an effort that hopes to save the structure severely damaged by fire Jan. 14. More than 1,400 members have joined since a Facebook page for the group was started Saturday.
