The Nyanza Natural Resource Damages Trustee Council will contribute up to $700,000 to these projects from the settlement associated with the Nyanza Chemical Superfund site in Ashland.

    Town Clerk, Rosemary Harvell, has announced there will be 13 official positions for the town and two positions for the Lincoln-Sudbury Regional District School Committee open for election on March 30. Interested candidates must file their intentions on or before Thursday, Feb. 5, and return their nomination papers on or before Monday, Feb. 9. Nomination papers and packets for Town offices will be available on January 5th at the Town Clerk's office for incumbents, whose terms are expiring, as well as new candidates. The packets cannot be mailed and must be picked up in person by the candidate.

Wendy Courtney, 42, pleaded guilty in Framingham District Court on one count of motor vehicle homicide for the crash that occurred in 2011.
