    Sangamon County Crime Stoppers is seeking information about a stolen vehicle which was then used in a felony theft at White Oaks Mall. Authorities say the vehicle, a gold-colored 1997 Lincoln Continental, was stolen from a parking lot at Memorial Medical Center sometime on or after January 22. Springfield police also say the vehicle was used in retail thefts before being found abandoned on January 28. Police say surveillance video examined during their investigation shows the person who committed the thefts.

    The Springfield Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that left a person with multiple non-life-threatening wounds. Springfield police say the incident happened in the area of Martin Luther King Street and Stuart Street on January 28. Police say as the victim walked out of a local liquor store, an individual described as a black male wearing dark gray sweatshirt and pants, got out of a white Chevrolet Impala, followed the victim around the outside of the business, and fired several shots.
