    While it has been more than five months since Richard Hurley was killed in a hit-and-run, Simpsonville police Chief Keith Grounsell said investigators are still actively seeking new leads. Hurley was hit by a Jeep Grand Cherokee on Dec. 18, 2014 while walking on Davenport Road near Foxfire Drive around 7:30 p.m. Police said the Jeep Grand Cherokee was likely a 1999-2002 model that may have sustained significant front-end damage, particularly in the front grill or headlight area.
