Weezy, a mixed breed dog who belongs to Sammy Abdel-Al, was shot on Thursday morning when she encountered a police officer who had walked into her fenced back yard - according to San Marino police Chief John Incontro, the officer who fired the service weapon feared for his own safety when Weezy approached.
