    Massena-based state police charged Caleb G. Adams, 22, of Salamanca with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance early Saturday morning. Adams was turned over to troopers at 6:13 a.m. Saturday after he was found in possession of a Ritalin pill and a small quantity of crack cocaine during a secondary search conducted by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the U.S. port of entry in Rooseveltown.

St. Lawrence County Judge Jerome J. Richards sentenced Michael T. Neff, 29, of 169 Raquette Point Road to one to four years in state prison for second-degree vehicular assault and a concurrent term of one year in jail for driving while intoxicated.
