    Reading has been authorized to claim $90,880 in state road and bridge repair assistance as part of the Winter Recovery Assistance Program . That's the town's portion of $30 million specifically aimed at helping cities and towns across the state patch potholes, cracked pavement and surface defects as well as repair or replace signs, guardrails, storm drains and line stripping damaged during the historic winter the area just experienced.
