    Steven Ray Mitchell, 37, of Rainsville, was driving the car and arrested for an outstanding warrant. Mitchell was charged with unlawful possession of drugs, paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance and is being held at the DeKalb County Detention Center where he awaits bond.

Agents searched a house located on County Road 876 near Rainsville after receiving information from members of the community of suspicious traffic at the home.

    Roger Dale Harcrow, 63 of Rainsville, is charged with eight counts of sex abuse of a child less than 12 years old. Sheriff Jimmy Harris said the arrest comes after an investigation of an alleged rape in Sylvania.
