    Senior basketball players from Windham County area high schools had a chance to play together for one last time in the Ray Brousseau Rotary Club Senior Shoot Out in Putnam on March 19. Ten female athletes from Ellis Technical Vocational School, Killingly, Plainfield, Putnam and Tourtellotte Memorial High Schools, Woodstock Academy and Pomfret School met on the court at the Putnam High School gymnasium for a 5:30 p.m. game. Twenty-eight senior boys from the same schools played at 7 p.m. The girls traded in their school uniforms and wore the colors their sponsors had chosen: blue for Archambault Insurance, green for Benpe Sales Group.
