The Rhode Island Department of Health said Friday that Rome Packing Co., Inc., of East Providence, issued the voluntary recall of several kinds of fresh and frozen crab meat sold under the Ocean's Catch brand.

    Three people have been charged with allegedly taking young women from Massachusetts to Rhode Island with the intent of forcing them to participate in commercial sexual activity. Federal prosecutors say 33-year-old Ricky Wallace, of Pawtucket, recruited two women, including a minor, and that 34-year-old Kemont Bowie, of Providence, and 20-year-old Raechyl Spooner, of Pawtucket, drove them from Boston to Spooner's residence and formed them into prostitution in August.
