    The National Weather Service in Boston has issued a blizzard watch which begins Monday, January 26 at 7:00 p.m. and extends through Wednesday, January 28 at 1:00 a.m. Sunday morning, the NWS posted an image to their Facebook page with charts depicting predicted snowfall totals which show the majority of Rhode Island and Southern New England forecasting 18 - 21 inches of accumulation and other areas along the coast and just west of Providence forecasting 21 - 27 inches of accumulation during the time period.
