Billy Stevens of Princeton, Kentucky was indicted in January for a crime that's said to have taken place in 1976 in Hopkins County.

    The Kentucky State Police investigated a two-vehicle, injury collision that occurred on KY 91, approximately six miles north of Princeton, on Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at 8:20 a.m. The preliminary investigation revealed that Connie Beverly, 58, of Marion, was operating a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt northbound on KY 91. Jonathon Chewning, 27, of Princeton, was operating a 2006 Ford Ambulance southbound on KY 91. The ambulance was transporting a patient, Amber Woolsey, 17, of Fredonia, who was involved in an earlier injury collision. As Ms.

    The Kentucky State Police responded to an injury collision on I-24 near the 38 mile marker on Saturday July 19, 2014 at 05:30 A.M. Initial investigation reveals Emmanuel McCurin, 27 of Princeton, was driving a 2003 Buick SUV traveling east on Interstate 24. McCurin fell asleep, the vehicle went through the median where it overturned, and crossed the west bound lanes before stopping. McCurin was transported to the Caldwell County Hospital where he was treated for his injuries.

    On Friday, July 11, 2014, at approximately 8:52 a.m., the KSP Post 2 Madisonville was contacted by the Princeton Police Department in reference to an officer involved shooting that occurred at the Planters Bank located at 208 North Jefferson Street in Princeton. Shortly after the bank opened, a lone suspect entered the bank wearing a stocking over his face and armed with a handgun.

Caraway, 29, of Princeton, KY, was operating a 1991 Mazda RX7 southbound on KY 139. Brian A. Samuels, 29, of Princeton, KY, was operating a 2005 Chevrolet Z71 pickup truck northbound on KY 139 when it appears that Mr. Samuels' vehicle veered into the southbound lane and struck Mr. Caraway's vehicle head-on.
