Peter Burkholder, a distinguished professor of musicology at Indiana University, from Feb. 23 to 24 which will include a talk before a Crane Symphony Orchestra concert Feb. 24. An eminent music scholar, Dr. Burkholder has written and edited four books on Charles Ives, and is the co-author of one of the most widely used music history textbooks, "A History of Western Music." In 2010, he became the youngest person to be named an honorary member of the American Musicological Society.
