Elizabeth Long, 46, of Point Pleasant Borough, who was charged with stealing $31,000 from the borough's Nellie F. Bennett Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization [PTO], has applied for entry into the state's Pretrial Intervention Program [PTI], a program that would allow her to avoid a trial, and a possible criminal record.
