    New York State Police arrested Daniel Guerard, Jr. 30, of Plattsburgh, on Dec. 6, 2014 for allegedly violating Leandra's Law - aggravated DWI with a child less than 16 years of age. Police say Guerard had a 6-year-old passenger with him when intentionally sideswiped another vehicle and drove while intoxicated.

    Troop B Narcotics Enforcement Unit investigated the sale and use of narcotics in the Clinton County area and five people were arrested on warrants. State police were assisted by the Plattsburgh City Police Department and the Clinton County Sheriff's Office in the arrest of the following people: Donald J. Cugno, 25, of Plattsburgh, New York, was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance for the possession and sale of heroin.
