The Golden Knights improved to 15-4 overall on the season, while Johnson State fell to 3-7.

    A team of researchers at Clarkson University has won the 2015 Journal of Laboratory Automation Authors Choice Award for their paper on cancer cells. Clarkson doctoral candidate Armand Gatien Ngounou Wetie said the project, led by Clarkson Trustee Dr. Bayard D. Clarkson Sr. of Sloan-Kettering Institute, aims to identify diffusible factors in high-density cancer cells that cause them to make other low-density cells grow.

Locy, 24, of Plattsburgh with driving while intoxicated, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and unlawful possession of marijuana and ticketed her for speed in zone following a traffic stop at 8:54 p.m. Friday on state Route 56 in the town of Norfolk. She reportedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.16 percent.
