    The Pittston Area School Board voted during Wednesday night's regular school meeting to table a proposal to approve arrangements with the Northeastern Pennsylvania Landbank regarding property taxes. The landbank, which includes the city of Pittston, Jenkins Township, and the boroughs of West Pittston and Duryea, will seek to acquire dilapidated and blighted properties, improve them and sell them to new owners with temporarily reduced tax rates.
