Over the past week, multiple Pinellas Park families have been victimized by the man who apparently has been going up to families who like to leave shoes outside their homes, and is stealing the shoes, sometimes replacing those shoes with other shoes.

Stevens, 73, of Pinellas Park was driving a 1992 Buick LeSabre westbound on 62nd Avenue North just east of 39th Street North just before the crash that occurred about 8:40 p.m. Tracie Ann York, 49, was driving a 2014 Bash scooter eastbound on 62nd Avenue North approaching 39th Street North.

Shepard was released from prison in 2013, after being sentenced to 15 years for sex crimes against children in 1999.
