    A collaborative public works project in Mingo Estates between Violet Township, Fairfield County Utilities and the city of Pickerington will proceed as scheduled but with a reduced contribution by the city after it was discovered after a bid opening that it would cost an extra $171,000 to complete the city's share for waterline reconstruction. Phase 2 of the Mingo Estates Infrastructure Reconstruction Project involves the reconstruction of pavement, curb, gutter and waterlines in the Violet Township subdivision as well as rehabilitation of the sanitary sewer.
