    Illinois State Police at Pesotum are investigating a two-vehicle crash between a car and a tractor trailer truck that was apparently caused by a drunken driver. Police said just before 4 a.m. Tuesday, Cynthia L. Manning, 30, of Urbana, was driving a Mercury Cougar east on Interstate 74 near Danville when she hit a guardrail, leaving the car in the middle of the eastbound lanes.

Ferrell, 68, who listed an address in the 100 block of South Hickory Street, was arrested Friday for aggravated criminal sexual abuse after voluntarily coming to the Champaign County sheriff's office for questioning. Sgt. Tony Shaw said Ferrell is alleged to have touched a girl in a sexual manner in his home in late October.
