    Peru was arrested Tuesday on two felony counts of theft. He was later released from the Miami County Jail after posting bond. The Kokomo Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/1owZ13I ) deputies say Greer stole tools, equipment, diagnostic instruments and merchandise from Raider Truck Repair, the Denver, Ind., business where he worked. Deputies say they searched Greer's vehicle and found stolen property belonging to the business owner. Many of the stolen items have been returned to the owner. Police began investigating Greer after the business' owner reported that he believed an employee had been stealing his equipment for an extended period of time.

    Peru, Indiana, to Franklin "Frank" and Margaret Hoon Witham, he was a resident of Richmond for 11 years, moving from Lynn, Indiana. Bill was a graduate of Kewanna High School. He was formerly a salesman for the Omar Bakery, Dietzen's Bakery, Well's Pontiac, Vivian Buick, and Victory Chevrolet. Bill was a member of the Church of Christ, Sertoma Club, and Lion's Club. He received his pilot's license and loved fishing and his work in sales. Survivors include his wife, Coralyn A. Stults Witham; daughter, Kimberly (Mark) Rafelson of Chicago, Illinois; sisters, Joann Nocera of Apple Valley, California, and Nancy Rose; brother, Jim Witham; sister-in-law, Phyllis Witham; nieces; and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Witham. A memorial service for William S. "Bill" Witham will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Condolences may be sent to the family via the guest book at www.doanmillsfuneralhome.com.
