    The deputy police chief fired by Perrysburg Township last week has sued the township, seeking to be reinstated or back pay and seeking damages of more than $100,000. Michael Gilmore has filed a lawsuit in Wood County Common Pleas Court against the township trustees, claiming he was denied due process and arguing the township Board of Trustees did not notify him of any charges against him, nor was he provided an opportunity to respond to the charges.
