    A 21-year-old Patchogue man died early Saturday after falling off a car's trunk and striking his head on the pavement in Farmingville, police said. According to police, Rafael Acosta-Lemus was riding on the trunk of a friend's moving Volkswagen four-door sedan, in the parking lot of 1075 Portion Road, when he apparently slipped off the trunk and fell onto the pavement at about 1:40 a.m. The car, operated by a 20-year-old Brentwood man was being driven slowly for a short distance to a different vehicle parked within the lot, police said.
