According to WDHN: Concerns over potential violence and recent criminal acts at Panama City Beach have prompted the cancellation of a controversial event scheduled this weekend. Considering the fact that the city has been undergoing scrutiny about incidents that occurred during Spring Break we felt that our event wasn't appropriate at this point in time to take place in Panama City Beach The Bay County Commission this week appropriated up to $40,000 to the sheriff's office to provide extra security in anticipation of the event.
