Cleveland Avenue, Posen, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, operating a handheld electronic device while driving and improper parking on the roadway after a Nov. 30 traffic stop, according to Palos Heights police reports. Police stopped Scapardine at about 4:04 a.m. in the 12600 block of Ridgeland Avenue after his vehicle was stopped in the median lane, and he was using his cell phone without a hands-free device, the report stated.
